America West Airlines announced today that its Education Foundation has awarded a record 90 college scholarships to dependents of America West employees for the pursuit of a higher education. The students receiving scholarships reside in 11 states throughout the markets America West serves and were chosen for their exceptional academic performance, leadership in the community, co-curricular activities and the recommendation of a principal or counselor.
