Anaren, Inc. today reported net sales from continuing operations for the first quarter ended September 30, 2004 were a record $24.9 million, up 36% from the first quarter of fiscal year 2004, and unchanged sequentially from the fourth quarter of fiscal 2004.

Operating income for the first quarter was $2.4 million, or 9.5% of net sales, up $1.3 million or 112% from the first quarter of last year, and down $0.5 million, or 18% sequentially from the fourth quarter of fiscal 2004.
