Article: Scholastic and Cartoon Network Announce Publishing Partnership for Books Based on Five New Original Series.

Scholastic , the world's largest publisher and distributor of children's books, announced today that it has expanded its partnership with Cartoon Network to be the exclusive U.S. publisher of TV tie-in books based on four new original series. Scholastic plans to publish books, beginning in Fall 2005, targeted at young readers age 4-11.

The new agreement between Scholastic and Cartoon Network includes publishing rights for Codename: Kids Next Door, targeting boys and girls ages 5-11; Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, targeting boys and girls ages 4-8; Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi and The Life and Times of Juniper Lee, targeting tween girls ages 7-11.
