AKRON, Ohio _ Brooke Liberman's report cards throughout her school years always had the same kind of comments: ``Brooke is a pleasant, delightful girl to have in class.''
But no matter how hard she tried, her grades were strictly average.
``The smell of carbon copy sheets to this day makes me cringe, because it makes me think of report cards and interim grades,'' she said. ``I tried very hard. It was very frustrating.''
In her art classes at Revere schools, she was incredibly focused and skilled. In other classes, she sat quietly in the back of the room, her mind constantly drifting.
