May 13--Peninsula Hospital will unveil a $1.25 million renovation today, the first significant upgrade since the adult mental-health facility opened in 1972.
The renovation converted two large open psychiatric units with 41 and 37 beds into five smaller, more-private rooms, which are better suited to providing diagnosis-specific treatment, Glenda Sublett, hospital administrator and vice president, said Thursday.
