You might call Jodi Andrews the first lady of Boston brewing. She started out waiting tables at Boston Beer Works' flagship brew pub (61 Brookline Ave.) across the street from Fenway Park, but it wasn't long before she pulled on a pair of rubber boots and started shoveling barley malt out of a mash tun. That was more than 10 years ago. Now head brewer, Anderson is truly devoted to her calling. She has the tattoos to prove it: Each bicep is decorated with hop vines and barley, and her upper back sports large, capital letters spelling out BEER.
If she decided to get another tattoo, it might read, "Official Brewer of Red Sox Nation." ...
