May 13--Like many area companies, Stamford-based Synapse Group Inc. is sending a team of walkers and runners to the Bennett Cancer Center Walk & Run fundraiser on June 5.
But this year, as Synapse employees gear up for the annual event, they do so with a special connection to the cancer center at Stamford Hospital. The major fundraiser takes place on the heels of a decision made by Synapse employees to give the center $25,000.
