Two added to EU protected foods: Two more regional specialties will be added to the EU's list of protected foods. Italian cheese specialty Ricotta Romana and Alsatian honey, or 'Miel d'Alsace', will join the list of 'Protected Designations of Origin' and 'Protected Geographical Indications, which now number over 700.
