It's quiz time:
``Q. Chinese food is high in (a) fat, (b) cholesterol, (c) sodium, (d) calories?''
If you picked sodium, blaming it on all that soy sauce, you'd be one-fourth right.
The fact is, Chinese food _ the very Chinese food that diet-conscious millions have felt virtuous about eating instead of cheeseburgers _ is loaded with fat. And cholesterol. And calories.
So says a report in the September issue of ``Nutrition Action Healthletter'' which suggests that, image aside, Chinese food isn't any more healthful than the average fast-food meal.
