In their five seasons together with thh Vikings, Daunte Culpepper and Randy Moss combined for 53 touchdown passes, 10th best in league history for a quarterback-receiver combination.
But Culpepper ultimately helped Vikings owner Red McCombs decide to make the decision to trade Moss.
Culpepper and Moss are very good friends, and Culpepper counseled Moss when there were controversies, like when Moss walked off the field before the game against the Redkins was over. But at the Pro Bowl, Culpepper said he thought it might be time for Moss to be moved to another team.
