Last November I met the president-elect of NAADAC, The Association for Addiction Professionals, Sharon Morgillo Freeman, at the annual convention of the Association for the Advancement of Behavior Therapy (AABT). She had just presented in a symposium and I had some questions for her. She was aware of the reviews of the treatment outcome literature my colleagues and I have written since 1980, and asked me if I'd be interested in contributing to this magazine.
