PARIS - Christian Lacroix will not stage a runway presentation for his fall ready-to-wear collection during the March shows.
The move, acknowledged Monday by officials of the designer's firm, fuels further speculation about current relations between the house of Lacroix and its financial backer, Bernard Arnault. Lacroix and his business partner, Jean-Jacques Picart, told WWD that they had been forbidden to comment on the cancellation of the show, referring all queries to the management of the business.
