Lincoln National Life, Ft. Wayne, Ind., has switched from using a whole life chassis to a universal life chassis for its second-to-die life insurance product.
The new policy, Survivor Life from Lincoln, seeks to respond to growing demand from Lincoln's field for a UL product in this marketplace, says Michael McFeeley, director-life marketing.
"We're a UL company, and our producers' expertise is in UL," he explains. "The new policy will let the producers be even more forcused on UL" than they were in the past. And it supports the company's long-range planning: "We believe our future is in UL, both fixed and variable," the executive says.
