Article: UNITED AIRLINES TO FLY MIAMI-SAN JUAN ROUTE

 
CHICAGO, Sept. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- United Airlines announced today it will inaugurate service between Miami and San Juan, Puerto Rico beginning Jan. 5, 1994. 
"The San Juan route represents ongoing growth for United in Miami, our principal gateway to Central and South America.  By January of 1994, United will offer 30 flights to 20 destinations at Miami International Airport," said J.C. Pope, president and chief operating officer. 
United's initial schedule will consist of two daily round-trip flights to be operated in Boeing 737-300 aircraft.
