Progress Energy has restored service to 99 percent of the customers who lost power as a result of Hurricane Frances. As of 10 p.m. today, Progress Energy's line and tree personnel were taking aim on the remaining 8,367 customers without power in three counties. That number is down from a peak of 832,898 set Sunday and Monday as Frances rolled through the state. Restoration is complete in 31 counties and nearing completion in numerous others.
