MAYAGUEZ, P.R. - Aratex Uniform Mfg. Co., a producer of work shirts and pants that are sold or rented in the mainland U.S., will expand its existing factory space here to over 150,000 square feet, investing up to $1.5 million in the process.
The plan should increase Puerto Rico employment by 500 jobs, bringing Aratex's total hires to an expected 1,000 workers over the next three years.
