Burlington Northern and Morrison Knudsen are members of a consortium that has been selected to negotiate a contract to operate and maintain two commuter rail lines and the subway system servicing Buenos Aires, Argentina. The consortium also includes two Argentine firms--Benito Roggio, a construction company based in Cordoba, and Cometrans, an association of 30 independent bus companies in Buenos Aires.
