Del Laboratories, Inc. confirmed today that it has been notified by Kelso & Company that, by mutual agreement, Church & Dwight, Co., Inc. will no longer be an equity participant with Kelso & Company in the acquisition of Del Laboratories Inc. and that Church & Dwight has relinquished its option to purchase the Orajel brand. Del Laboratories, Inc. will retain the marketing, sales, and product development responsibilities for its Orajel brand.
