Smith & Nephew's Endoscopy division today announced the launch of the BIORAPTOR(TM) 2.9 suture anchor and the ELITE(TM) PASS Premium Arthroscopic Suture Shuttle, that expand its suite of shoulder repair products.
The shoulder is the body's most moveable joint, and, for that reason, the most susceptible to injury and instability problems. Each year, an estimated 4 million people visit their doctor complaining of shoulder pain. Of that number 1.5 million will seek the advice of an orthopaedic specialist.
