The Japanese government has decorated Chairman Oura for his insightful leadership during his presidency of Advantest and his contributions to the semiconductor industry. The honor -- Japan's oldest merit award-will be bestowed on November 10, 2004, at the Autumn Honors ceremony at the Imperial Palace, Tokyo.
