Four internationally recognized bands will headline the sixth annual Guinness Irish Festival, on Sept. 9 and 10 at Clinton Square.
Teada, Searson, Quagmyre and The Peelers all will be making their first appearance at the Syracuse festival.
Irish World calls quintet Teada "one of the most exciting traditional groups to emerge in recent years." It features well-known fiddler Oisin Diarmada. Most of the band's members grew up in rural Ireland.
Searson makes the trip to Syracuse from Ontario, Canada.
