DETROIT -- Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae landed spots among DiversityBusiness.com's list of top 50 companies for diversity. The agencies, whose diversity initiatives touch the Metro Detroit area and communities with high minority populations nationwide, were chosen by minority-owned business owners as some of the nation's top supporters of diversity-owned businesses.
The week-long Internet-based election included voting by more than 350,000 business people. Freddie Mac landed the 45th spot while Fannie Mae camped out at No. 31.
