KEN LIVINGSTONE today called for the man "blackmailing" the London Eye to be sacked.
The Mayor said Lord Hollick and other board members of the South Bank Centre - which has threatened to evict the Eye - "should all go".
He said control of the South Bank and its arts complexes should be handed to him to run in the wider interests of London.
Despite a plea from Culture Secretary Tessa Jowell, Lord Hollick has failed to withdraw a letter threatening to evict the Eye by 1 July unless it pays [pounds sterling]2.5million a year in rent, rather than the [pounds sterling]210,000 it wants to pay under an ...
