ANAHEIM, Calif. _ While Ozzie Guillen denied late Monday he has agreed to a two-year extension, the marriage between the manager and White Sox management seems firm enough to continue at least through 2006.

"We just trust them, and they trust me," Guillen said. "We've got a relationship. We should worry about getting this team better."

Guillen's comments are somewhat similar to those made by Tony La Russa, who was in the final year of his contract with the Cardinals. La Russa was more consumed with focusing on the Cardinals' fortunes rather than his own situation.
