LLANGOLLEN is in for a treat when a Japanese group perform ceremonial music with traditions stretching back more than 1,500 years.
The Kagura troupe will travel to the tourist town from Hogawa village set deep in the mountains west of Osaka, Japan.
They perform among bamboo poles strung with offerings to the gods wearing traditional masks and colourful costumes.
The players will appear at the Llangollen Royal International Pavilion on Friday next week.
Kagura is Confucian ceremonial music.
