NEW YORK -- After 14 years at Ecco, President and CEO Jan Stig Andersen is leaving the company to pursue a new venture.
Andersen told Footwear News last week he is joining Denmark firm Brandtex Group, an umbrella group for 12 apparel firms. In the meantime, Ecco has yet to name a successor to Andersen.
"It's a tough decision because I've been with Ecco all my life," said Andersen, who will start at Brandtex on Sept. 1. "It was an opportunity I couldn't say no to ...
