OLATHE, Kan., May 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Garmin International Inc., a unit of Garmin Ltd. , today announced a restructuring of its consumer sales and marketing department to take advantage of the growing popularity of its integrated GPS devices among consumers of all types.
Garmin has created three Senior Manager positions to further support its dealer and distribution network and to take advantage of quickly developing marketing and sales opportunities. One position will oversee the company's marine and recreation business, another will manage mobile and automotive OEM business, and a third will coordinate Garmin's national accounts.
