May 26--The growing population on the city's Butler Boulevard business corridor has lured many new projects in the last few years. Add to that list a multimillion-plus outpatient surgery center.
The 30,000-square-foot Southpoint Surgery Center, to be located at Southpoint Parkway and Belfort road, will perform eye, pain management and other surgeries, said Elizabeth Perkins, a project manager for the facility.
At the surgery center, near St. Luke's Hospital, patients will check in, have the surgery and check out the same day, Perkins said. The facility, scheduled to open June 2006, is expected to perform about 3,000 to ...
