IRVINE, Calif. -- Learning about business operations processes is usually no day at the beach -- but it will be for a group of students from The Paul Merage School of Business on June 3.
Students from Professor Reynold Byers' Operations Management class will fan out across Huntington State Beach. With shovels, sand and teamwork as tools, student teams will race to build the best and most inexpensive set of sandcastles for a fictitious customer.
