Mumbai, May 26 (PTI) The Sikh community here has forwarded nominations of their representatives to the Censor Board to regulate movies that have themes based on Sikhs.
The community under the aegis of Sikh Media and Culture Watch (SMCW) has nominated eight names to the Censor Board, the organisation's General Secretary Dileep Singh told PTI.
SMCW, which has been successful in deleting three scenes from Pritish Nandy production's `Shabd', said "we always wanted our representative on the Censor Board to regulate movies based on Sikh community."
