CHICAGO -- Fitch Ratings has assigned an 'F1+' rating to Washtenaw County, MI's $10,000,000 general obligation limited tax notes, series 2005 taxable obligations. The treasurer has scheduled the note sale for June 2 via negotiation through Comerica Securities. Dated June 2, the notes will mature on Feb. 9, 2006 and will not be subject to redemption prior to maturity. The notes are secured by the county's 2005 Revolving Fund as well as its limited tax, general obligation pledge.

The 'F1+' rating, which is of the highest short-term credit quality, reflects the strong coverage of expected note repayment resources and ample liquidity derived from the county's general ...
