The Elgin Choral Union will return to its roots this weekend when it closes out its 2004-2005 season with "Ein Deutsches Requiem," Johannes Brahms' masterpiece for which the choral union was formed 58 years ago.

Lewis also serves as artistic director for the Lutheran Choir of Chicago, which will join ECU in concert this Saturday in the Blizzard Theatre at Elgin Community College.
