TOKYO, May 27 Asia Pulse - Daidoh Ltd. (TSE:3205) plans to be operating 50 directly run apparel stores in China by the end of 2006, about 2.5 times its current chain of 19 shops.

Through aggressive store openings, the firm aims to tap the growing demand for high-end apparel stemming from the rising income levels in that country as well as to catch up with leading rivals such as Itokin Co. and World Co.
