``I spank and I love my children, too. ... We can't be afraid to set limits with our children. I think society tries to lump spanking in with all the violence in our society. I think they're confused.''
Steven Winokur of Upper Dublin, Pa., USED to spank his children.
``It was not teaching the values I really wanted to teach. It was not teaching `why,' not teaching the reason for the rules. I'm not saying let the child do whatever he wants. We are still in charge, but spanking is not the way to show that.''
