AUBURN HILLS, Mich. _ Rasheed Wallace is the villain, the arrogant one, the crazy guy strutting down the court and ticking off the opposition.
Wallace is the hero, the fiery one, the spirited guy hustling down the court and encouraging his teammates.
Wallace, the Detroit Pistons' forward, recognizes he can be both, depending on perspective.
"I know it is a 50-50 thing out there," Wallace said Saturday. "Fifty percent of the fans love me, 50 percent hate me."
Wallace is "the guy you love to hate," said Ben Wallace, who, like his teammates, isn't among the haters.
