Forget that connecting Oklahoma with Kansas City is akin to equating Mexico City with Havana; overlook the fact that most white Californians of three generations' seniority are Okies or Arkies; never mind that few of the geniuses who crated that mile-stone Oklahoma! had either blond hair or blue eyes; even ignore that the woman summarily dismissing me as "Anglo" is the highest ...
