Rich Aurilia will be back on the Reds' active roster soon, possibly even today, but it will be difficult for him to reclaim the starting position he held before going on the disabled list just over two weeks ago.
Even before Aurilia went down with a strained left hamstring, Felipe Lopez had forced himself into the starting lineup at second base. But in the interim, moving back to his natural position, Lopez has simply become one of the Reds' most indispensable players.
