The season of farmers' markets is beginning. Some metro-area markets are open already, and dozens more will open in coming weeks. Market locations include:

ANDOVER

St. Paul Farmers Market, 13655 Round Lake Blvd., Grace Lutheran Church, 651-227-6856. Open 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays, from June 21 through Oct. 25.

ANOKA

Anoka County Farmers Market, 2nd Avenue N. and E. Jackson Street, 763-792-4025. Open 2 to 6 p.m. Thursdays through Oct. 27.

APPLE VALLEY
