A SIX-YEAR-OLD boy is the youngest Scots competitor at a top European martial arts competition.
Darren McLaughlin has defied his age to enter the showpiece contest.
The yellow belt made the grade thanks to the ability which saw him earn a silver and gold medal at last year's Scottish championships.
