SAN FRANCISCO -- The Department of Industrial Relations' (DIR) acting director John Rea has announced that Governor Schwarzenegger has appointed Robert Pacheco, 70, of Walnut, to DIR's Occupational Safety and Health Appeals Board in the public member seat. Mr. Pacheco has lived his life devoted to public service. Among his works he served as city council member and planning commissioner for the City of Walnut and held a position with the League of California Cities.
