BEIJING, June 3 Asia Pulse - By 2020, China will invest 400 billion yuan (US$48.3 billion) to build 31 nuclear power stations each with an installed capacity above one million kW, Kang Rixin, General Manager of China National Nuclear Industry Group Corporation, disclosed recently.

These nuclear power stations will mainly scatter in six provinces and one municipality along the coastal line and the government hasn't so far approved any plan to build nuclear power stations in the inland area, according to Kang.
