Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet, VADM Tim LaFleur was named an Honorary Supply Corps Flag Officer Feb. 25 in a ceremony held at the Surface Force headquarters.
According to the RDML (Sel) Mark Heinrich, LaFleur's collateral duty as a Supply Officer on board the now-decommissioned ocean minesweeper USS Constant (MSO 427) led to the ship winning the coveted Ney Award and almost landed him a career in supply.
