* Check the head harness' elasticity when you PMCS your mask. Gently stretch the head harness straps to make sure they still have some spring. If they don't, the head harness will have trouble keeping the mask tight enough to seal. Your NBC NCO needs to replace the head harness.
* Make sure the head harness' elastic webbing is on top and its seams point out. If you have the head harness inside-out, the crosspiece rubs land makes you a sorehead.
* Tighten the head harness straps so they are snug, but not so snug that you can't stick a finger under each strap. If the straps ...
