Introduction
Teaching about Global Positioning Systems (GPS) can be a great way to introduce students to technology and social impact and change. For instance, if you go to buy any automobile or recreational vehicle today, like an ATV or boat, GPS systems will be available from the factory on many of them. Transportation companies track the speed and location of their large trucks and call tell their clients exactly when a product will be delivered.
