After going through some significant ups and downs in the last several years, the local printing industry is seeing a turnaround in business as more publications are being launched throughout the county.
The publication printing industry, which in San Diego consists of four printing companies, is only a small part of the region's nearly $1 billion a year industry, according to the Printing Industries Association of San Diego, an industry trade group.
