Tsk, tsk! The Virginian-Pilot's Warren Fiske fell inadvertent victim to one of Bill Bolling's serious campaign fabrications when he wrote his Monday front-page article, "Tight race shows GOP divide in state."
Mr. Fiske reported that Sean Connaughton, the chairman at large of the Prince William Board of County Supervisors challenging Mr. Bolling for the Republican nomination for lieutenant governor in the June 14 primary election, "called a proposal to raise taxes last year 'positive,' but he now notes that the increase has led to a large budget surplus."
That "positive" canard is right out of Mr. Bolling's campaign playbook and is an outrageous, ...
