OLYMPIC chiefs have made London joint favourite to stage the 2012 Games.
The capital is now officially "neck and neck" with Paris after its bid was praised as "excellent" in key areas.
A crucial report one month before the International Olympic Committee votes on who will host the Games highlights a dramatic improvement in London's transport system. But it warned that public support in London is not as high as Paris after the IOC commissioned its own opinion polls.
The survey found 68 per cent of people in London support the bid compared with 85 per cent backing in Paris.
