Jun. 5--The most talked about entry in last year's Parade of Pet Homes extreme makeover extravaganza was a canine condo called "Bad Dog."
What made this "barkitectural" feat so over the top was that it had a black leather exterior trimmed by a series of silver spikes, with a well-chewed Prada shoe attached to the entry by a chain.
Entered in the Parade of Pet Homes by Artemide, a cutting-edge company in commercial and residential lighting, the dog domicile was the brain-child of Marc M. Nelson of the Boston-based architecture firm Cubellis Associates Inc.
