As playwright George Bernard Shaw said, "England and America are two countries separated by a common language."
Their feelings about soccer are similarly divisive, as indicated during Friday's news conference at the Chicago's Hotel InterContinental.
In anticipation of today's exhibition soccer (or "football") match between the national teams of the United States and England, one player and the head coach from each squad were made available for interviews.
