Wru chief Steve Lewis believes the Irish and Scots will come to their senses when they realise just what the collapse of the Celtic League would mean for them, writes Simon Thomas.

Lewis hopes that by the time he returns from Wales' tour of North America next week the landscape will have changed sufficiently for the dispute to be resolved.

As it stands, the Irish and Scots are ready to go it alone and play in their own competition in protest at the WRU signing up to the Anglo-Welsh Cup.
